For some reason, many people believe they can simply coast through life and still end up successful. It’s probably the reason why many people fall for get-rich-quick scams. Imagine doing minimal work and raking in bags of cash in return!
If you really want to succeed, you’re going to put in a lot of time and effort to make it work. You will need to take action. Here are 3 reasons why taking action is important if you want to succeed:
It’s your first step towards success
If you don’t take action, you’re never going to take that first step towards achieving your goals. You’re never going to go anywhere. As they say, it’s always the first step that’s the hardest.
It’s relatively easy to choose the right goal and to make a grand plan on how you’re going to achieve that goal. But actually going out there and taking that first step, that’s hard.
Many people have fun at the planning stage, but the moment they actually need to do something, then the reality will sink in.
“That’s a lot of work,” they’ll say. They’ll start procrastinating, or they’ll start thinking it’s a bad idea. And they’ll just stop there.
That’s all they do – just plan things, but never really take action.
You find out first-hand what’s really working
When you take action, you find out that whatever you’ve planned isn’t always going to happen. It isn’t always going to be feasible.
Sometimes, what you think something is may be different from what it actually is in real life. This is why being flexible and knowing when to adjust is so important.
Your plan is just a general guide – you don’t have to take it at face value. When you take action and go out into the real world, you find out what’s working.
You learn to go with the flow. You learn there’s a better option out there that will help you achieve your goals much faster than what you’ve initially anticipated!
You grow as a person
Taking action is important if you also want to grow as a person. On the way to success, you’ll encounter so many obstacles, problems, and challenges. That’s when you grow as a person.
When you learn how to overcome all these obstacles, when you gain new skills, when you develop resilience, you grow as a person.
If you don’t take action, you’ll remain as you always have been, doing the same things you’ve always been doing.
We’ve only got limited hours in a day. With so many things and so many tasks to finish, you’d want to be as productive as possible. In this article, you'll learn about 6 productivity hacks that will help you reach your goals faster.
Sleep is so important that it has to be at the top of this list. When you don’t get enough sleep, you have trouble concentrating at work. Your mind seems to drift every so often to thoughts of hugging your pillow in bed.
Caffeine is a short-term fix to help you focus, but when you’re consistently not getting enough sleep, your productivity is going to go down a lot.
Don’t be overwhelmed by your seemingly larger-than-life goal. Have a daily to-do list, a weekly and monthly checklist.
Breaking down your goal into mini-goals makes it easier for your brain to process.
Everytime you tick something off your list, you feel positive, and it motivates you to continue doing your tasks. You can measure your progress, too.
This is going to be a matter of personal preference, but many people swear by the power of music.
Generally, it’s classical or instrumental music that people listen to when they want to concentrate on their tasks.
Of course, you’re your own person – you can listen to any type of music that helps you focus.
Find a quiet space to work in. If you’ve got other people in the room with you, try putting on noise-canceling earphones to block out the sound.
Let your teammates know though so they can tap you if they need something from you.
Breaks are always helpful in helping you recharge your energy and your productivity. You can go for a quick run if you’re feeling really stressed, or a quick nap if you need to.
When you multitask, you tend not to give your best. You’re trying to get as many tasks done at the same time so you can’t focus on any one of them.
Your productivity will be affected if you juggle far too many tasks at once. Focus on one task, give it your whole attention, and watch what happens to your productivity!
Motivation is one of the most important factors that will drive you to succeed. When you lose it, you’re in danger of permanently failing and losing track of your goal. Here’s what you need to do when you feel like you’ve lost all motivation and you can’t seem to get it back on your own:
Why are you chasing that particular goal? Do you remember why you chose it in the first place? Is it because it will ultimately make you and your family happy and wealthy? Or is it because it will help many people?
Whatever your reason, you need to remember it. Recall how it initially made you feel. It will help re-light the fire under you.
Over the course of your journey, you should ideally have already cultivated positive habits that will help you succeed. Habits that are not going to stand in the way of your success, but rather will help you reach your goals.
When you start losing motivation, continue going through the motions, the routines you’ve already established. If you haven’t established good habits yet, then you better get started! At this stage of your journey, you need to take action consistently – your habits will help you do just that!
Read inspirational stories about people you look up to. Is there a particular entrepreneur or leader you really like? Find something in common with them.
For instance, you can read up on stories about how they successfully overcame obstacles. You can then try to get ideas on how you can do the same thing.
Do you know someone who’s going through the same rough patch as you? Reach out to them and ask for advice. It’s not a sign of weakness if you seek help. It works both ways, you know. You regain your motivation, and the other person gets a boost in self-esteem.
Rewards work really well when it comes to motivation. You can challenge yourself to, say, complete a task within a week and you’ll get a corresponding reward.
The more difficult the task, the bigger the reward. If you miss your deadline by even a day, you don’t get your reward. Think of something you really like – it just may help you revive your motivation!
Reflect On Your Achievements
When you start running out of ideas, or you start feeling like you’re not making any progress at all towards your goals, you can try looking back at your achievements.
Remember how far you’ve come, all the milestones you’ve achieved to date, and you’ll see that everything you’ve done so far has not been wasted.
Start a journal, write down your thoughts and your feelings. You can also use it to chart your progress.
When you’ve got concrete proof in front of you that you’ve made significant steps towards your goals, you’ll feel so much better.
You’ll feel motivated to continue doing your work and to improve yourself as well.
Learn From Others
If you look up to somebody, you can use them as motivation to continue improving yourself. This is especially true if that somebody has found success in life. You’ll learn a lot from them.
You don’t even have to know them in person. You can read news articles and books about them. Learn their background – do they have a special story to tell? Let them inspire you.
You can also start following them on social media, if they’re on there. Many successful people use social media nowadays, and they strive to provide plenty of value to their followers.
Mentor Other People
Teaching other people what you know will also motivate you to become a much better person. Other people are looking up to you, you don’t want to fail them.
You want to show them that you’re capable of being a good mentor. It will help build your self-confidence and your self-esteem.
I’m sure you’ve had a favorite teacher or mentor in school – what did they do to make them stand out from the other teachers?
I’m willing to bet it’s because they taught you a lot about different subjects, maybe about life in general.
You can do the same to your mentee(s) – show them you genuinely care for them, it will motivate them to learn. Their motivation will rub off on you – so it’s really a win-win situation.
Introduction
Have you ever wondered why some people are able to become super-successful entrepreneurs while others just dream about it?
Have you always wanted to follow in the footsteps of the world’s wealthiest business owners, investors or tech giants? What
makes everything turn to gold at their touch? That’s a question that all aspiring entrepreneurs would like the answer to, and we have it here.
It turns out that in order to be able to crack the Entrepreneur
Code, all you need to do is take a close look at some of the most
successful men and women of today’s world. It is immediately
apparent by examining their daily habits, and seeing what they
focus on, that they do things differently than the average person.
If you can copy the same things that these uber-successful
people do, you can achieve the same level of success that they
have achieved.
That’s what this book is about. Each chapter will examine a
particular area of life where successful people tend to focus. The
information was gathered through extensive research into more
than 100 successful entrepreneurs, including everyone from actor
& producer Jim Carrey to tech giant and PayPal founder Elon
Musk.
In each of these life areas, which include health, fitness, personal
development, relationships and spiritual pursuits, we have
identified several key habits that have turned these people into
businessmen and businesswomen that have not only achieved
fame and amassed a great fortune, but are actually changing the
world around them for the better.
Each chapter will not only list and describe these life-changing
habits, but they will also profile a successful and well-known
entrepreneur that is known for those particular habits, so that you
can see how they are applied in the lives of successful people.
The 50 habits that we have identified are shared among just
about all of the entrepreneurs that we researched, and especially
among the entrepreneurs profiled in this book. If you can
incorporate just a few of them into your own life, you will have a
distinct advantage over other people who are striving for success.
The more of these habits that you can make your own, the more
in line with what the most successful entrepreneurs in the world
are doing in their own lives. Each one will give you part of the key
that you need to unlock the Entrepreneur Code, and once you do,
the possibilities are limitless.....
What if I told you that your best laid plans and your dreams of success are constantly being sabotaged? What if I told you that there is this person that constantly gets in the way of you living the kind of happy, complete and contented life you deserve?
Sounds crazy? Well, if you're like the typical American, you probably can easily rattle off the names of half a dozen people that may have contributed to your current frustrations.
Maybe it's your school principal who decided not to put you in the gifted program because he or she felt that you still needed a lot of polishing. Maybe it's your parents who simply did not understand you and you feel they treated you badly. Maybe it's your first boyfriend or girlfriend who hurt you so much that you're still feeling the negative consequences of their rejection, betrayal or discouragement.
If you're like most other people, you can easily rattle off three, six, or even dozens of names. What if I told you that that mental list that you have is completely worthless because the fault does not lie with any of those people?
Now, you probably are up in arms about this. You probably can rattle off thousands of reasons why these people screwed you up emotionally. Well, the reality is, nobody can make you feel lousy without your approval. Seriously. Nobody can make you feel bad without your consent.
I know that this quote from Eleanor Roosevelt may seem harsh, but it's absolutely true. Whatever mental state you're in, whatever emotions flash into your consciousness the moment you think about somebody or a situation in your life, is a choice.
And unfortunately, a lot of people are unable to make this fact work for them instead of allowing it to constantly work against them. We can't make headway against this. We know how this works, we know that it's negative, but somehow, some way, the moment we find ourselves in certain situations or we start thinking of certain things or certain people, we get all negative.
Now, it would be great if this negative reaction just stayed on a purely internal and emotional level, but it doesn't. Instead, we say the wrong things to the wrong people and all the wrong drama blows up.
Similarly, we can get so worked up about something that we thought about, or something that somebody said or did, that it pretty much poisons the rest of our day. We're not as effective as we could be.
Make no mistake, until and unless you are able to overcome your emotions, you will always remain frustrated. You will always remain unhappy with some aspects of your life. It will continue your inability to overcome your emotions. It will continue to rob you of the happiness you are otherwise capable of achieving.
If you want to get out from under this mental and emotional prison, click here to read the book that will show you how.
Thinking and acting emotionally almost always leads to a less than optimal situation. Whatever conflicts are in your life, it gets worse. Whatever negative mental habits you have gets reinforced. Whatever bad decisions you tend to make become even more habitual. You need to break the chain. Do it today.
Read this book to discover the steps that you need to take to start living a more effective life. This book is written in plain English and pushes you to take solid action to finally break the invisible shackles that are holding you back from a life of contentment, happiness and purpose.
Let's get one thing clear. A lot of people make all sorts of excuses why they're not millionaires. A lot of people say, "Well, money doesn't make you happy. You can't buy love. You can't buy fulfillment. Money doesn't matter. What matters is happiness. What matters is a sense of contentment."
Well, the problem here is that a lot of people define contentment in such a way that it robs them of accountability. Somebody could say to you, "Well, I'm with the person that I'm with because I love him or her." Fair enough.
But instead of calling that person out and holding that person to a standard and demanding accountability, you just hang on to the emotion. You just hang on to how good it feels to be around that person.
Well, it might turn out that the person is a drug addict or the person has a habit of smacking you around and giving you a black eye every once in a while. You still get that nice emotional rush from time to time, but you have allowed it to blind you to the fact that you are in an abusive relationship. Do you see what's wrong with this picture?
Similarly, you can be pumping your head with all sorts of ideas that make you feel good, but unfortunately, the last time I checked, all the good feeling and all the fuzzy emotions that flash through your mind are not going to pay the bills. They definitely won't take away the fact that the rent is still due. Do you see where I'm coming from?
A lot of people are not millionaires, although they have the capacity to become one. I'm not talking necessarily about educational attainment. I'm definitely not talking about work experience. But everybody has the potential to provide a tremendous amount of value to everybody else, and in return, society rewards them. Since our society measures value in terms of dollars and cents, don't be surprised if people who pumped out a lot of value to others become millionaires.
This is the question you should be asking yourself: What's getting in the way of me being able to live out to my fullest potential by creating a lot of value?
When you allow yourself to aspire for maximum value creation, you are able to touch a lot of people's lives in a positive way. And ultimately, this leads to you being rewarded monetarily. Now, this may not necessarily mean that you will be a millionaire, but you would definitely be more comfortable than you are now.
Also, when you make providing value to others your life's mission, you feel more complete. You feel that there is a purpose and a meaning to you waking up every single morning. At the back of your head, you feel that there's a point to everything that's happening in your life. There's this one general overarching narrative that gives you purpose. And all of this is tied to your ability to maximize the value you're giving to others.
This goes back to the question of why you're not a millionaire yet. Why is that? What is it about your current situation that prevents you, day after day, from acting according to your fullest potential? Click here to read a book that would open your eyes to the factors that hold you back and drag you down from the kind of destiny you could be living.
You have a purpose. I know it sounds crazy, I know that this seems like it comes out of left field, but this is absolutely true. There is a meaning to your life.
But unfortunately, nobody's going to give that meaning to you. It's not going to fall out of the sky somewhere. You have to find it. You have to know where to look.
Click the image below to read the book that will give you the clue that you need to take your life to the next level. Nobody can do this for you. You have to do it yourself. You have to step up. You have to take responsibility. Do it now.
It really breaks my heart to read news stories of lottery winners. Now, before you say the familiar phrase "haters are gonna hate," don't get me wrong. I'm happy that people randomly win a million dollars or more. Seriously, I am. Because everybody deserves a break, right?
What I am unhappy about is when I read news stories showing the lives of too many lottery winners ten years, five years, or even a couple years after their big lotto win. What am I talking about? I'm talking about people who barely had two pennies to rub together, getting a windfall of several million dollars only to end up not having two pennies to work with.
Do you see my point? These people enjoy a massive windfall of one million, two million, or even several million dollars, but given enough time, they end up where they began.
This makes me sad because it reminds me of one of the most common lies we get told every single day. The lie is this: if your circumstances change, you will become happy. In other words, if your environment changes in a profound way and you get the right inputs, you become a happier, more complete and more contented person.
Who can disagree with that logic? After all, we hear it again and again. But just like with any lie, regardless of how many times you hear something, it doesn't make it any less of a lie. A lie, even repeated a billion times, will still not be true.
What is the truth? Well, these individuals who got that windfall of millions of dollars did not change the way they think. Their mindsets, assumptions and expectations were still the same, and that's why they lost all that money. Easy come, easy go.
People who come from rags to riches who remain rich, on the other hand, became rich because they changed inside. It's not like somebody gave them a million bucks. They struggled for every penny of those million dollars. And because they allowed that struggle to change them in a profound and positive way, they're able to get more millions.
That first hundred thousand turns into one million. That first one million turns into ten million. That ten million turns into a hundred million, and on and on it goes. In fact, in the case of certain people, it becomes exponential.
Where did this change occur? Well, it didn't occur in the way you think it does. Most people would think that they were just at the right place at the right time and the right things happened. Well, there's a lot more going on behind the scenes.
Don't let surface appearances fool you. If we're honest with ourselves, we would clearly understand that opportunities flash into existence and quickly disappear all the time. If this is the case, then why aren't the vast majority of people that run into opportunities able to make the best use of them?
The answer? They were not properly prepared. They did not have the right assumptions, they did not have the right mindsets, they did not have the right attitudes, and that's why those opportunities slipped through their fingers.
Rich people are rich not because their external circumstances made them rich. It's because they let their external circumstances trigger an internal change. Understand this and you will understand why a million bucks, or even ten million bucks, is not going to make you any happier.
If you want to achieve the internal change that you need to take your life to the next level, Click the Image to Get Access to the Free eBook . This book will help you solve the problems you're facing now.
You are unhappy and you lack contentment because of the mindset that you have. Make certain simple changes to how you choose to see things and you'd be surprised as to how dramatically your life can turn around. The choice is where it has always been: in your hands. Make the right choice today.
I'm sorry to be the one to say this to you, but there is somebody out there who just has it in for you. This person doesn't want you to succeed. This person does all sorts of things to prevent you from achieving the success that you're otherwise capable of achieving.
This person always gets in the way of your happiness. It seems that regardless of what you choose to do and what you choose to set your sights on, this person always gets in the way and screws things up for you.
You end up frustrated, you're not content with what you have, and it's very easy for your life to seem like one giant disappointment. And if you look at what's going on, it goes back to this person.
Now, don't get too excited. This person is not some bully from your past. This person is not one of your parents or both your parents. This person is not a family member. This person is not even your boss, believe it or not. This person is not your professor or teacher.
Who is this person? Well, he or she is not some sort of religious authority. This person – are you ready for this? – spells his or her name this way: Y-O-U.
The number one person who will always get in the way of your success, happiness and personal completion is you. Why? Only you have the power to sabotage your success and happiness.
Believe me, even if a hundred people teamed up against you, the human mind is so powerful and so unlimited, that somehow, some way, you will get out from under them. This is not a theory, this is not rank speculation, this happens all the time.
There are so many people who have so many things going against them. They were born in the wrong place, they didn't have enough money, they have abusive parents, they were addicts, but they were able to achieve success. They were able to enjoy the kind of happiness you could only dream of.
And what is their secret? They chose to live life differently. They chose to believe in different things. They chose different mental and emotional habits.
Please understand that regardless of what you're unhappy about, you are in your situation because somewhere down the road you chose to be in that situation. You made decisions a certain way that led to where you are.
Now, you can waste a tremendous amount of time and energy disputing this. You can come up with all sorts of excuses, you can point your finger into so many different people and recite a long list of disadvantages you may have or unfortunate situations.
You're more than welcome to do that, but let me tell you, your life is not going to change. In fact, the more you blame other people and circumstances beyond your control, the more you will stay in place. In fact, you might even make things worse for yourself. You might imagine yourself to be such a big victim that you become incapable of changing your life for the better.
If you're sick of what's going on in your life and you really want to break out and take your life to the next level, click the image to get access to this free eBook . This book will help you start making changes that would free up your pathway to success. Instead of allowing yourself to always get in the way, you will learn certain steps that would enable you to make the right decisions more consistently.
A lot of people are under the impression that their lives are products of their environment. If somebody is successful, highly effective and contributes a lot of value to society, it's because, in the minds of too many people, this person just had the right environment. He or she had the right parents, the right schooling, the right nutrition, and grew up in the right location.
All these advantages were lined up for this person to take advantage of and his or her life is a testimony to these external inputs. Put simply, to create success, you just need to get the right inputs from the outside world and give it enough time and you would achieve the same positive results each and every time.
What if I told you that this is a complete lie? In fact, there are many government programs in the United States and Western Europe, where external resources were poured into social problems and guess what happened? Those social problems still exist. People are still struggling. People are still unhappy. People are still broken.
It doesn't matter how many trillions of dollars were poured into these social problems, they still persist to this day. In fact, according to some measures, they're getting worse.
The reason why these external "fixes" don't work is because people's lives are products of their mental operating systems. Your life is not the result of inputs, but how you internally perceive and deal with these inputs.
It's these internal factors that play a bigger role in whether you will be happy or lack contentment in your life. It is this internal configuration that plays a bigger role in whether you are going to achieve a lot of great things in your life or you're just going to be another face in the crowd.
If you are unhappy in any way, shape or form, please understand that this is due to the fact that you may have a faulty mental operating system. This doesn't mean that you're a bad person. This doesn't mean that you're garbage or you are defective. What this means is that you need to be aware that what you choose to believe in is not serving you all that well.
Accordingly, you need to format and reinstall a different mental operating system. That's what you need to do. When you feel, perceive and intellectually process things differently, then your actions change.
When you change your actions, your world changes because the world doesn't care about your emotions. It couldn't care less about your feelings. Your motivations, things that you could have done, should have done or would have done doesn't really matter to the world. All it pays attention to is what it sees.
And guess what? It sees action. Either you take the right action or you don't. That's how basic the world is. It's all objective.
The good news here is that if you choose to be aware of your mental operating system and tie it to the level of results you get, you can reformat or modify your attitudes, assumptions, expectations and general mindset to respond in a more optimal way.
Eventually, you would be able to respond in a way that leads to you becoming happier, more content and more effective. This leads to greater and greater success in life.
Unfortunately, a lot of people cannot wrap their minds around this. It seems that they're stuck in thinking about things a certain way. It's the only thing that they've known for all these years. It really seems almost impossible to even think of something different.
If you're stuck in this situation, click here. Read this book to solve this problem once and for all. There is one simple thing you can do that would lead to you living a life worth living.
If you feel that your life doesn't have much of a purpose, read this book. You will learn to do one thing that can take your personal happiness and effectiveness to a much higher level.
